CARPE DIEM LLAMAS We are located in Maple Ridge on 5 magical acres surrounded by mixed forest, abundant wildlife and solitude. When the snow has fallen and the air is still, our little haven is transformed into a winter wonderland or as some of our friends call it...Sleepy Hollow! There is no better place to be!
At Carpe Diem we emphasize well-mannered companions in all our llamas including our breeding females and intact males. We devote time to training our llamas to field haltering, walking without resistance on a lead, standing quietly and patiently, loading in a trailer, manoeuvring on a stakeout line and going for walks in the neighbourhood or on the trail. Having well-mannered and polite llamas is as important to us as their pedigree. My biggest peeve is poorly behaved llamas and llama owners are solely responsible for ensuring their llamas are controllable and well behaved especially in the show ring or walking in public.
